DESCRIPTION: If planning policy sits in the background\, what sits in the f
oreground? \n\n Join Roxanna Collins to collectively answer question 12 of
  her ‘Twenty-three questions…’ (2026). Together\, we’ll weave word
s and lived experiences of place through this playful collage workshop\, a
iming to explore our awareness of ‘background’ planning policies\, and
what our foreground focus might be in the places we hold dear. \n\n In th
is relaxed session\, you will be invited to discuss our differing emotiona
l place-experiences\, followed by a role as a reader or audience member (y
ou decide!) for a group reading of short planning policy extracts ready to
create our own emotional place maps\, abstract drawing and policy word co
llages. What will form our backgrounds? What will be brought to the foregr
ound? \n\n This is an indoor workshop taking place in Nook Gallery. See ma
p and venue info below. \n\n PAY WHAT YOU FEEL. If you are in a position t
o please donate what you can\, however no one will be denied a place due t
o lack of funds. The money will go to the artist and some to the gallery.
