DESCRIPTION: The Being Jesus' Hands and Feet (Growbaby) Conference is back 
 this September and we would love for you to join us! \n\n We all have our 
 own story to tell and we have a role in telling the stories of the familie
 s we meet. We also have the privilege of sharing the greatest story in all
  history.  How do we provide a platform for the Jesus story\, a megaphone 
 for our Growbaby families stories and share our own stories with respect\,
  dignity and empathy?   \n\n We’ll be hearing from Dr Carole Kaplan. Dr 
 Kaplan is a retired Child Psychiatrist who has continued to work as Intern
 ational Director in CNTW NHS Mental Health\nTrust. She is driven by a desi
 re to continuously improve the care offered to everyone\, particularly chi
 ldren and young people and their families\, who need mental health support
  and treatment. This work is within the NHS as well as in other organisati
 ons both in the UK and internationally. In addition to clinical\, academic
  and managerial work in the NHS she has served on a number of National bod
 ies including the Council on Tribunals\; NHS Litigation Authority\; Adviso
 ry Board on Family Law\; Family Mediation Standards Board\; Voice of the C
 hild\, and National Child Contact Centres as well as publishing and teachi
 ng widely as an academic. She currently works in the charity sector as a t
 rustee for Research into Practice (Dartington Trust) and has just joined M
 ental Health Matters. She is a Commissioner for the Archbishops’ Commiss
 ion on Families and Households and Relate. \n\n Whether or not you are inv
 olved in Growbaby\, this event is an opportunity to be encouraged\, challe
 nged and propelled into your community with our thinking challenged and ho
 pefully honed. \n\n The event starts at 09:00 and finishes at 16:30. Lunch
 \, tea and coffee all included. \n\n Please book your ticket before the 10
 th September. Bookings after that time may be accepted but we need to know
  numbers for catering requirements. \n
