 2.30 pm\, Informatics Forum \n\n open.ed is about Open Knowledge at the Un
 iversity of Edinburgh.  Open Knowledge encompasses a range of concepts and
  activities\, including open educational resources\, open science\, open a
 ccess\, open data\, open design\, open governance and open development. Th
 ere are a variety of initiatives across the University that contribute to 
 this agenda\, and the time is ripe to develop a more coordinated approach.
  In order to move this process forward\, we are holding a half-day worksho
 p devoted to open.ed\, focussing on the areas learning and teaching\; the 
 student experience\; and research. We would like to gather ideas on how to
  develop a roadmap for making progress in each of these areas.  \n\n The w
 orkshop is being held in conjunction with the University's participation  
 in a project launched by Universities UK and the Open Data Institute\,  Cr
