 e graduation ceremonies to attend\, vacation trips to plan\, and holiday p
 arties to host with family and friends! Attending these events can be fun\
 , but a lot of thought must put in the event's design.  \n\n \n Is this a 
 professional or personal event?  \n Who is attending the event\, and is it
  accessible to everyone?  \n What is the purpose of the event\, and what v
 alue does it hold?  \n \n\n Whether we’re talking about a patient’s jo
 urney through the medical system\, from getting sick to seeing the doctor\
 , through to treatment and adherence\, or an attendee’s journey through 
 a user conference\, from awareness\, to registration\, schedules\, present
 ations\, breakouts and networking\, understanding and mindfully designing 
 for the journey is everything.  \n\n Through a hands-on workshop focused o
 n design thinking activities\, we will look at the phases of an event and 
 identify and design a better event experience — before\, during and afte
 r the event. You will walk away with practical experience creating an expe
 rience map\, defining personas\, and even planning a design event! \n
