DESCRIPTION: Fixfest UK 2023 is a gathering for all those involved in commu
 nity repair across the UK. We'll meet on the 30th of September 2023 in Car
 diff\, where you'll have a chance to lead and join workshops\, talks and h
 ands-on sessions about how we can make repair the norm. Together\, we will
  explore the following themes: \n\n \n Strengthening the UK repair movemen
 t \n The Right to Repair in the UK (and beyond) \n Repairing in our commun
 ities \n How to repair… \n \n\n As with past editions\, an ‘unconferen
 ce’ approach will give you the chance to shape the programme by suggesti
 ng topics and running sessions. Learn more about this here. \n\n Fixfest U
 K began in 2018 and happens every 2-3 years. This third edition is being o
 rganised by The Restart Project and Repair Cafe Wales in collaboration wit
 h other members of the Community Repair Network. Fixfest UK 2023 is funded
  by The Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust and sponsored by SUEZ recycling a
 nd recovery UK. \n\n To ensure the whole of the UK is represented\, ticket
 s are limited to two per community repair group and are non-refundable. Ti
 ckets will be released in batches\, so if they are all sold out\, join a w
 aiting list to hear when the next batch is released. \n\n Note: a train st
 rike has been announced for 30 September. For more information and help ge

  for? \n\n Fixfest UK is intended for anyone who is actively involved in a
  community repair group (such as a Repair Café) or repair network in the 
 UK. If you aren't a member of a UK community repair group but would like t
 o come anyway\, please email the team at: fixfest@therestartproject.org \n
 \n For anyone outside the UK\, Fixfest international will return in 2024 o
 r 2025. \n\n Need help with travel costs? \n\n We have a limited number of
  travel bursaries available. To apply\, buy the reduced price ticket below
