DESCRIPTION: Join us in January at The Holloway for a hands-on\, cameraless
  animation workshop where you can paint\, scratch\, and draw directly onto
  16mm film. This engaging session welcomes participants of all ages to exp
 lore the tactile world of celluloid in a relaxed atmosphere\, with no prio
 r experience needed. Your finished creation will be showcased in a live pr
 ojection at the end of the workshop. \n\n This workshop will be led by exp
 erimental filmmaker and cine specialist Jacob Watkinson\, who uses the man
 ipulation of celluloid heavily in his film practice. Jacob is also the fou
 nder of EFEA (Experimental Film East Anglia)\, a festival dedicated to pro
 moting bold and innovative film work in the East of England. \n
