 s history\, community and German connections!  \n\n This year\, Trinity ma
 rks 250 Years of Modern Languages at Trinity. Did you know that the German
  and French Chairs at Trinity are the oldest continuous modern languages c
 hairs anywhere in the world? Professor Mary Cosgrove\, 1776 Professor of G
 erman at Trinity\, will join us on the night to share the incredible story
  of languages at Trinity – from its national and international historica
 l context to the legacy of these Chairs for generations of Irish people an
 d friends of Ireland in Germany\, Europe and around world.   \n\n Afterwar
 ds\, there will be a networking reception with wine and refreshments. We
 ’re looking forward to a fantastic evening exploring the links between I
 reland and Germany\, celebrating Trinity’s role in furthering connection
 s between the two countries and reconnecting with fellow graduates in the 
 Berlin alumni community.   \n\n Doors will open at 6.00pm with the program
 me to begin at 6.30pm.This free event is open to all Trinity alumni and fr
 iends\, but spaces are limited\, so we encourage you to register today. Pl
 ease note that advance registration is required to gain entry.   \n\n We l
