DESCRIPTION: Our next Design\, Simulation &amp\; Metrology Special Interest
  Group Event will be looking at Sustainability Strategies. \n\n \n What ca
 n companies\, large or small\, do to meet the government sustainability ta
 rgets? \n \n\n Hexagon\, Waitrose and JRM Group will host tables and will 
 lead discussions with a number of SMEs in order to uncover new solutions a
 nd partnership opportunities for further collaboration. There will be diff
 erent discussion groups for you to join\, enabling you to contribute and t
 ake away valuable insights on today’s key challenges around sustainabili
 ty strategies\, best practices\, and new solutions. You can find out about
  some of the specific areas for discussion below. \n\n \n Hexagon MI would
  like to engage with the wider manufacturing &amp\; technology communities
  to explore what does a proportionate Sustainability plan and activity loo
 k like for each type of business in the UK. \n Waitrose would like to enga
 ge with the wider manufacturing &amp\; technology communities to explore h
 ow other sectors technology and innovation could help to decarbonise the w
 ider community. Specifically looking at cost reduction and volumising prod
 uction to enable wider roll out. How can we mobilise the technology and in
 novation learned in Waitrose to other sectors and SMEs and it more accessi
 ble to smaller organisations. \n Bioregional would like to engage with the
  wider manufacturing &amp\; technology communities to explore how to accel
 erate modal shift towards a low-carbon and affordable transport infrastruc
 ture for the UK that enables healthy and sustainable living and working. \
 n STC is located in the heart of UK motorsport. JRM Advanced Engineering w
 ould like to engage with the wider manufacturing &amp\; technology communi
 ties to explore how historically motorsport-centric companies can support 
 others with the acceleration of new low carbon technologies. \n \n\n The e
 vent will take place between 9:00 and 13:30 followed by a networking lunch
  and a tour at the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence facility at Milton K
 eynes. Please note that this is an in-person event only. \n\n There are li
 mited spaces and tickets are available on a first come\, first served basi
 s. \n
