DESCRIPTION: PROGRAM \n\n Lightning talks \n\n \n Online Dating and Long Te
rm Solutions - Mohammed Junaid \n Could be you! \n \n\n Please submit your
  talk ideas here 👉 https://bit.ly/sfpythoncfp \n\n Short talk(~10 mins
 + Q&amp\;A) \n\n Adding DevSecOPs to your Python application pipelines - E
ric Anthony \n\n Security is moving left these days and incorporating secu
rity into your automated pipelines is crucial. I'll quickly discuss severa
 l python-specific tools and components\, including static scans\, dynamic
scans\, dependancy chain evaluators and others\, that help detect and even
fix security issues before they come up. I'll review some techniques for
incorporating these into your automated pipelines including tools to speed
up remediation efforts when vulnerabilities are discovered. \n\n Author B
io \n\n Software developer at Extant \n\n Better C++ Integration With Pyth
on Through Pyllars - John Rusnak \n\n Solutions for integration of Python
with C++ are often not "pure". They require commenting code in certain wa
ys or manual upkeep of intermediate specifications. This talk focuses on
using the latest features of C++ to develop a method for full autogener \
n\n Current Python bindings to C++ require you to write configurations\, e
mbed comments or re-code an interface all over again. Pyllars is a soluti
on that makes such bindings natural and easy\, with little configuration o
r setup. Pyllars is not yet ready for release\, but has come a long way.
In this talk I will explain the compexities involved with creating such a
binding\, and show the progress made in supporting many of the features o
 f C++. \n\n Author Bio \n\n I am passionate about providing engineers a pr
oductive\, optimized and useful development experience. I enjoy enabling e
ngineers at LinkedIn to produce the world's best software for connecting t
he world's talent. \n\n Extreme Bikesharing: How I used Python to plan an
epic Ford GoBike trip - Jonas Neubert \n\n How do you get the most bike fo
r the buck out of a $10 day-pass for the Bay Wheels (formerly "Ford GoBike
") bike share system? This talk is about how I used constraint programming
\, mapping and routing APIs\, public bike share datasets\, map visualizati
on libraries\, and a whole lot of Python to plan an epic 13-hour-long 121-
leg bike ride around the East Bay. \n\n Author Bio \n\n Jonas is an automa
tion engineer and software developer. Jonas enjoys working on multi-discip
linary projects that are more complex than complicated\, which he currentl
y does at Zymergen. \n\n 🖋Register here to attend: https://ti.to/sf-pyt

  food provided by our generous sponsor! \n\n 7:05p - Welcome \n\n 7:30p -
 Door close \n\n 7:10p - Announcements\, lightning talks and main talk \n\n
  8:15p - More mingling \n\n 9:00p - Hard stop \n\n This event is produced
by: SF Python \n\n SF Python\, a volunteers-run organization aiming to fos
ter the Python Community in the Bay Area. Please check out their flagship
event\, PyBay2019\, and consider attending the 5th Annual Regional Python
Conference in SF August 2020. \n\n Venue and food is via Yelp's sponsorshi
p \n\n Yelp sees 89 million mobile users and 79 million desktop users ever
y month. Keeping everything running smoothly requires the best and brighte
st in the industry. Their engineers come from diverse technical background
 s and value digital craftsmanship\, open-source\, and creative problem-sol
ving. They write tests\, review code\, and push multiple times a day. Come
out and talk to them. \n
