DESCRIPTION: RECS and Energy Trader Europe members are invited to join an i
 n-depth\, practical workshop on our respective trade agreements for biomet
 hane - covering guarantees of origin\, proofs of sustainability\, and the 
 physical gas itself on 1 June 2026 from 14:00-17:00. \n\n The workshop's s
 peakers will address key questions\, including: \n\n \n How each agreement
  functions\, and why \n How the agreements support the effective and effic
 ient trade and transfer of GOs/POS \n How we may update the agreements in 
 response to the implementation of the UDB \n How the agreements interact w
 ith prevailing biomethane certificate systems\, such as the AIB gas issuer
 s scheme \n How GO/POS can be recognised for regulatory compliance with na
 tional schemes such as the German THG. \n \n\n Workshop attendees will be 
 able to participate in a constructive discussion on biomethane market risk
 s and opportunities\, and how standard contracts can help to address them.
  Attendees will also gain an understanding of which agreement may be the m
 ost suitable for their needs. \n\n The workshop speakers are: \n\n \n Dagm
 ara Dragan of Energy Traders Europe \n Adam White of RECS Energy Certifica
 te Association \n Andreas Gunst and Kenneth Wallace-Mueller of DLA Piper \
 n Filip Strohwasser of CEZ on the practical use of the respective contract
 s. \n \n\n Workshop attendees\, especially those joining in person in Prag
 ue\, will have the chance to ask all their questions about the standard ag
 reements and join the presenters in considering the potential need for fut
 ure updates. \n\n The workshop is open to RECS and Energy Trader Europe me
