DESCRIPTION: What is Python Asia? \n\n PythonAsia is the biggest gathering
of Python enthusiasts in Asia\, bringing together developers\, students\,
educators\, researchers\, and industry leaders to learn\, connect\, and gr
ow as one community. \n\n Formerly known as PyCon APAC\, the event has bee
 n hosted in countries like Singapore\, Japan\, Taiwan\, South Korea\, Mala
ysia\, Thailand\, Indonesia\, and the Philippines. Starting 2026\, it prou
dly takes on its new name\, PythonAsia\, co-organized with the Python Asia
Organization (PAO)\, the regional group supporting Python communities acr
oss East and Southeast Asia. \n\n This year\, PythonAsia 2026 returns to t
he Philippines with the theme “Kalinga”\, a Filipino word that means c
are and compassion. It’s about the warmth that connects us\, the trust t
hat helps us grow\, and the gratitude that inspires us to give back. \n\n
 Across three exciting days\, you’ll experience inspiring talks\, hands-o
 n workshops\, lightning sessions\, community gatherings\, and open-source
sprints\, all designed to spark ideas\, build friendships\, and celebrate
what makes the Python community truly special. \n\n Whether you’re just
starting your Python journey or you’ve been contributing for years\, Pyt
honAsia 2026 is your chance to learn\, share\, and feel the PyCon magic th
at unites us all. \n\n \n\n Why Palayok? \n\n The palayok\, a traditional
  Filipino clay pot\, symbolizes warmth\, nourishment\, and community\, the
heart of kalinga. Just like how a shared meal brings people together\, Py
thonAsia is a place where we gather to share knowledge\, stories\, and car
e that keep our community growing strong. \n
