  and what are Beam’s use cases\, \n Get basic knowledge about challenges
  of big data processing and how Beam can help you deal with them\, \n Writ
 e your first data processing pipeline and execute it on Google Cloud Dataf
 low. \n \n\n The committers of the Apache Beam project will guide you thro
 ugh the process step-by-step. After the workshop\, you will be able to sta
 rt writing your own pipelines using everything you will learn. \n\n Prerre
 quisites \n\n In order to participate\, you need to have either Java or Py
 thon experience. We recommend using a Linux or Mac computer during the wor
 kshop. \n\n for Python users: \n\n \n Install the latest version of Apache
  Beam by running pip install apache-beam[gcp]. Apache Beam supports the fo
 llowing versions of Python: 3.6\, 3.7 and 3.8. \n \n\n for Java users: \n\
 n \n Have JDK 1.8 installed \n \n\n More information on how to prepare for
  the class will be coming soon. \n\n Participation in this workshop requir
 es previous registration and has limited capacity. The Workshop is paid fo
 r and costs USD 15 (money goes to Apache Software Foundation). \n
