DESCRIPTION: All day on Thursday\, October 24 we’ll have hands-on\, colla
borative sessions from local London journalists and visitors coming to tow
n for the Mozilla Festival. \n\n This year our theme is: teams\, collabora
tion\, and the interdisciplinary perspectives that help us to work well in
journalism and tech. We’ll have a range of sessions about how we work t
ogether\, how we engage folks from disciplines outside of journalism\, and
what we need to do to create cultures that are welcoming to all perspecti
ves and value innovative thinking. \n\n We'll schedule about half of the s
essions beforehand and half on that morning. You can find more information
about the schedule and sessions (or suggest one of your own!) on the Open
News site. \n\n Your entry includes a free day of programming and coffee\,
tea\, and snacks. (Lunch will be on your own.) \n
