DESCRIPTION: Why NodeBots \n\n We want to show that node is an all-purpose\
, fun tool by showing its potential with hardware. How? By bringing togeth
er those interested in node and hardware hacking\, and giving them an open
space to hack\, collaborate\, learn\, and share their results with others
. Also your guide for the day is one of the people helping to create the n
odebots environment\, so he wants all your realtime feedback about how thi
ngs can be easier and better! \n\n Why the $10 ticket price? \n\n We want
to ensure that everyone who registers for a ticket is actually going to at
tend and thats why we ask you to a very small fee. One slots are very limi
ted so we want to ensure they go to people who will be present on NodeBots
Day. The ticket price does go to cover refreshments that will be availabl
e throughout the day for you. \n\n What Cool Stuff can I do? \n\n Checkout
the Johnny-Five examples for some examples of cool stuff to do with Node
and Arduino. \n\n tl\;dr - You can do stuff with motors\, servos\, sensors
 \, LEDs\, in categories like home automation\, robots that move\, walk\, a
nd dance\, and just about anything you can wire together. \n\n How \n\n BY
OHardware -- Assume there will be no hardware waiting for you at this even
 t. You will need to purchase your own or find someone day of to team up wi
th! No worries if this is your first time\, we have some suggestions: \n\n

ystem installed. You should also have downloaded and installed Node.JS ver
sion 0.10.x from nodejs.org. Otherwise we will have internet available\, b
ut if you feel adventuresome\, go ahead and install Johnny-Five\, which ma
kes robot build incredibly fun and easy. \n\n We will probably also have e
verything from drones to laser cutters to CNCs to sumobots\, so if you hav
e ever had a crazy project in mind\, this is the time to make it happen! Y
ou do not need to be proficient or even coding in node.js to attend\, just
a willingness to try new things! \n\n But I don't know how the slightest
about electronics let alone robots \n\n That's okay! We will have mentors
who know how to get you up and running with both the ctronics and the code
. We want to create a good environment for those new to hardware hacking.
\n\n Sponsoring \n\n Want to sponsor? Great! Contact @voodootikigod for in
