DESCRIPTION: Meeting Link \n\n We are using Microsoft Teams for this event.
Click on the link and join in your browser or download the app if you pre
 fer. \n\n Microsoft Teams Meeting \n\n \n\n GitHub\, Azure DevOps\, so muc
 h confusion… or maybe not? \n\n 18:30 - 19:30 \n\n Matteo Emili \n\n htt
ps://twitter.com/MattVSTS \n\n We live in a fast-paced industry. Today we
get a brilliant new feature for Azure DevOps\, the day after a new GitHub
Actions enhancement comes out. Why two platforms? What’s the need? \n\n
Is it confusing? Perhaps – I was in a situation where I had to deal with
both\, let’s try to shed some light on how to get the best of these two
 ! \n\n \n\n Distributed Application Runtime \n\n 19:30 - 20:30 \n\n Kunal
Babre \n\n https://twitter.com/kunalbabre \n\n Many teams modernising lega
cy applications or writing new one aspire to build a microservice applicat
ion that can be written using any language\, any framework yet works toget
her and run anywhere. \n\n Designing such distributed systems is not easy
and on top of that\, there are too many choices and decisions to make lea
ving too little to do what is really important (business logic!). \n\n Th
is is where a developer-centric open-source framework called Dapr (Distrib
uted Application Runtime) shines. It focuses on providing building blocks
that make it easier for developers to build portable applications with the
language and framework of your choice. \n\n In this talk\, we will look a
t Dapr and how it can help you build resilient\, stateless and stateful mi
croservice applications. \n\n Azure and Kubernetes certified experienced C
loud Architect\, with a passion for building robust cloud architecture. At
Microsoft\, I work with our most strategic customers to spearhead their j
 ourney into the Cloud. \n
