 g just over a year in the industry\, I’m wanting to talk about my journe
 y from no experience whatsoever to actually having a bit of an idea about 
 what it is I’m doing! I’ll be talking about why I decided to go into d
 ev\, the difficulties I’ve faced (and overcome) and some of the things I
  would consider to be important for beginners. \n\n Whether you’re new t
 o development or considering taking on an apprentice\, hopefully this talk
  will shed some light on a few things. \n\n Gavin Elliott - Imposter Syndr
 ome \n\n When impostor syndrome got to be too much for Gavin Elliott\, he 
 had to confront his own deep\, sophisticated mental health challenges. In 
 a personal talk\, Gavin shares how he learned to handle anxiety and impost
 er syndrome in a society that’s uncomfortable discussing it. As he says:
  “Being honest about how we feel doesn’t make us weak — we can overc
 ome our impostor.” \n\n This talk will discuss mental health support\, r
 ecognising impostor syndrome\, the effect it has on our personal and profe
 ssional lives\, how to deal with it and ultimately overcome your impostor.
