 forming at McGrory's on 13th March 2026. The group was formed in 2001 afte
 r Lorna and Karen returned from living in Australia\, where they began wri
 ting and performing music. Joleen\, the youngest member\, was finishing he
 r Leaving Certificate and emerging as a talented harp and piano player\, m
 aking her a natural choice to join her sisters. Later that same year\, the
 y wrote and recorded their first album\, produced by Maire Breathnach. Sin
 ce then\, they have released five more original studio albums\, several EP
 s\, and a live album featuring music by The Boswell Sisters of New Orleans
 \, which was released in February 2020. \n\n Their music\, infused with th
 e rich cultural heritage of their native Donegal and a transatlantic flavo
 ur\, has been described by Froots magazine as “full-bodied and powerfull
 y dynamic.” The Henry Girls have successfully blended traditional roots 
 with contemporary elements\, earning both commercial success and significa
 nt critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic. \n\n The trio has perfo
 rmed on stages around the world\, leaving audiences in awe of their except
