  last Thursday of the month to work on maps\, learn about geospatial data\
 , and teach each other about various tools and techniques for mapping. Map
 time! is time for map-making. Our mission is to open the doors of cartogra
 phic possibility to anyone interested by creating a time and space for col
 laborative learning\, exploration\, and map creation using mapping tools a
 nd technologies. \n\n This month we have the following presenters:     \n\
 n \n Mikko will share about how they use OpenStreetMap in their work in th
 e Red Cross. \n Feye will talk about the initiatives of the  latest YouthM
 appers chapter in the Philippines\, from the UP Resilience Institute.  \n 
 Leonard will present their experience mapping Cordillera Trails\, and how 
 they use utilized Drones/UAV  for determining the extent of the grassfire 
 in Mt. Pulag. \n Erwin will present about the re-boot of the OSMaPaaralan 
 initiative\, to validate the Department of Education data of public school
 s and add them in OpenStreetMap.  \n \n\n Blitz/Lightning talk slots may b
 e made available for others who want to talk about their mapping projects.
