DESCRIPTION: The Lothian Junior Championships are a regional championship a
 nd therefore open to children living in Edinburgh\, Lothians and the Scott
 ish Borders area only. \n\n The tournament is being held at St George's Sc
 hool\, Edinburgh (see below) and starts at 9:30am on Saturday 25th June\, 
 with prize giving ending around 4:30pm. There will be an extended break be
 tween rounds 3 and 4 for lunch. \n\n A six round individual swiss tourname
 nt with a 25 minute time control. Default time 10 minutes. \n\n As we have
  not been able to run a team tournament this year\, we are adding a team e
 lement to this tournament. The top 3 results in each section from each sch
 ool or club will be added together for a team award.  Players should enter
  individually but state their school and\, if they have one\, their club o
 n the entry form. \n\n Sections \n\n \n P5 &amp\; Under\nFor primary schoo
 l age players up to and including P5 \n Primary (P7 &amp\; Under)\nFor pri
 mary school age players. This will mostly be P6 and P7 but younger players
  may enter this section if they want more challenging games\, otherwise th
 ey should enter the P5 and Under section. \n Open (S6 &amp\; Under)\nFor s
 chool age players\, including 2022 leavers. This will mostly be Secondary 
 school age\, but younger players may enter this section if they want more 
 challenging games\, otherwise they should enter the Primary or the P5 and 
 Under section. \n \n\n Sections may be merged or split depending on the nu
 mber of entries \n\n Name\, Date of Birth\, School or Club and results wil
 l be shared with Chess Scotland for grading. During the event we upload na
 mes\, teams and results to chess-results.com. We may publish results and l
 inks to Chess Scotland and chess-results.com on our website and via social
  media channels. \n\n How to Enter \n\n Please note that this tournament i
 s not a drop-off event.  You are responsible for ensuring your children ar
 e supervised between games. \n\n Select your section below\, enter your pa
 yment details to pay and then provide information about the child (or chil
 dren!) that you have entered. \n\n Early bird entry before 11pm on Tuesday
  21st June is £8 \n\n Entry after 11pm on Tuesday 21st June is £10 \n\n 
 ALL ENTRIES BY FRIDAY 24th JUNE 12 noon \n\n Cancellation Policy \n\n Let 
 us know that you cannot come by midnight on Friday 24th June and we will r
 efund your entry fee. \n\n Discount codes \n\n Children who receive free s
 chool meals for reasons of income receive free entry by using the discount
  code FSM \n\n Chess Scotland paid members can claim a £1 discount. Tick 
 the box on the entry form and once membership is verified a refund will be
  given to your card. Membership is from £18.90 for a Junior and\, amongst
