DESCRIPTION: The Lothian Junior Championships are a regional championship a
 nd therefore open to children living in Edinburgh\, Lothians and the Scott
 ish Borders area only. \n\n Main Tournament \n\n Starts at 9:30am\, with p
 rize giving ending around 4:15pm. \n\n Sections:\n - P5 &amp\; Under\n - P
 6/7\n - Secondary \n\n A six round swiss tournament with a 25 minute time 
 control \n\n Please note Name\, Date of Birth\, School or Club and results
  will be shared with Chess Scotland for grading. During the event we uploa
 d names and results to chess-results.com. We may publish results and links
  to Chess Scotland and chess-results.com on our website and via social med
 ia channels.  \n\n Afternoon Taster Tournament - From 1pm \n\n As well as 
 the full day events\, Lothian Junior Chess are also running a 'Taster Tour
 nament'.  This will be a miniature version of the main event\,  with just 
 three rounds of games.  This is targeted at younger children and those who
  feel that to start straight into a six round event might be too big a fir
 st step.  Entry for the taster is limited to P5 and under\, and the player
 s should not yet have a grading and have played in less than two of our ev
 ents. \n\n How to Enter \n\n Please note that we are not responsible for y
 our children outside of the playing hall. \n\n Select your section below\,
  enter your payment details to pay and then provide information about the 
 child (or children!) that you have entered. \n\n Entry before 11pm on Mond
 ay 2nd March is £8 for the main tournament sections and £5 for the Taste
 r Tournament.  \n\n Late entries (after 11pm on Monday the 2nd March) is 
 £10 for the main tournament.\nALL ENTRIES BY FRIDAY 6th MARCH 11pm \n\n D
