DESCRIPTION: The individual championships are open to children living in Lo
 thians and the Borders. \n\n As well as the full day events\, Lothian Juni
 or Chess are also running an 'Taster Tournament'.  This will be a miniatur
 e version of the main event\,  with just three rounds of games from 1pm.  
 This is targeted at younger children and who feel that to start straight i
 nto a six round event might be too big a first step\, or whose parents mig
 ht find it difficult to be tied up for the whole day.  Entry for the taste
 r is limited to P5 and under\, and the players should not yet have a gradi
 ng and should have played less than 8 graded matches. \n\n For everyone el
 se - the event starts at 9:30am\, with prize giving ending around 4:15pm. 
 \n\n For this event we are using online entries - this should ease congest
 ion at the registration desk. You need to select your tickets\, enter your
  payment details to pay and then provide information about the child (or c
 hildren!) that you have entered. \n\n Late entries (after 11pm on Monday t
 he 27th of November) is £10. \n\n Chess Scotland paid members can claim a
  £1 discount\, by using the code discount CSM \n\n Children who receive f
 ree school meals receive free entry\, by using the discount code FSM \n\n
