She inv estigates government surveillance in countries across Africa\, South Ameri ca and South-East Asia and collaborates with international partners on pro moting a better awareness of surveillance programmes and advocating for be tter protection of right to privacy. She also conducts research on the imp act of data exploitation. Prior to joining Privacy International she worke d as a journalist for the Franco-German TV channel Arte\, where she was co vering European affairs. She holds a MA in International Journalism from C ity University (London) and a BA in liberal arts from Sarah Lawrence Colle ge (New York). \n\n Lukasz Olejnik is a security and privacy consultant\, and a researcher at University College London. His interests include infor mation\, computer security and privacy\, especially web\, mobile and Inter net of Things and Web of Things security and privacy. Lukasz is also a Wor ld Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Invited Expert\, where he works on privac y aspects of web standards.
