DESCRIPTION: The Lake Macquarie Mayor's Prayer Evening is an annual gatheri
 ng hosted in partnership with Lake Macquarie Mayor\, Cr Adam Shultz\, brin
 ging together leaders from churches\, charities\, schools\, business\, com
 munity organisations and local government to pray for our city and its peo
 ple. \n\n Established in 2019 by former Mayor Kay Fraser and a group of La
 ke Macquarie Christian ministers\, the evening has become a meaningful opp
 ortunity to build relationships\, celebrate the partnerships that strength
 en our community\, and seek God's blessing over Lake Macquarie. \n\n Refle
 cting this year's theme\, Standing Together\, the evening provides a relax
 ed and welcoming environment where people from across our city can connect
 \, encourage one another\, and unite in prayer. Proceeds from the event ar
 e donated to a local charity or not-for-profit organisation serving the La
 ke Macquarie community. \n\n The 2026 Mayor's Prayer Evening will be held 
 in the South East View room at Belmont 16s\, located on the first floor an
 d featuring an undercover outdoor terrace overlooking beautiful Lake Macqu
 arie. \n
