  \n\n About Alexandra Fiorillo \n\n Alexandra is the Founder and Principal
  of GRID Impact\, a social enterprise design collective that creates scala
 ble social impact around the world. The collective works on challenges lik
 e handwashing\, sanitation\, climate change\, economic empowerment\, and s
 exual health. She is a behavioural designer and recovered from COVID-19 in

 \n\n Sam Ladner is a sociologist who helps teams innovate\, design\, and l
 earn. She is the author of Practical Ethnography: A Guide to Doing Ethnogr
 aphy in The Private Sector and Mixed Methods: A Short Guide to Applied Mix
 ed Methods Research. She has worked on dozens of advanced software project
 s including Alexa\, the Echo Look\, Windows 10\, Microsoft Office 2016\, C
 ortana\, and HoloLens. She currently works at Workday as a Principal Resea
 rcher studying the future of work. She received her PhD in sociology from 
 York University and lives in the Bay Area with her husband and cat. \n\n \
 n\n  \n\n About Feena O'Sullivan \n\n Feena is a product designer who has 
 been designing and imagining beautiful interfaces since 2015. After gradua
 ting from Visual Communications in IADT\, she then moved on to work in a d
 esign agency\, DesignWorks as a graphic designer before landing a job in a
  startup\, Wia.io. It was in the world of startups that she developed a lo
 ve for product – designing desktop and mobile applications\, for develop
 ers and hobbyists alike\, to create end-to-end IoT solutions. Feena is cur
 rently a Visual UX designer in Workday working across two different produc
 ts\, Help and Org Studio. \n\n \n\n  \n\n About Marcus Albeny \n\n Marcus 
 has been curious enough to wear many different hats in the design and soft
 ware industries since 2002. He has shifted across a few different industri
 es\, roles and more than a dozen companies including his own design studio
  started back in 2007 in Brazil. Having spent most of his career on the co
 nsultancy side designing for small and medium companies in a developing co
 untry\, he learnt through practice the value of resilience and a can-do at
 titude. Marcus is currently a Product Designer and Researcher at Workday. 
 \n\n \n\n  \n\n About Tamara Hale \n\n Tamara Hale\, PhD\, (she/her + they
 /them) is a Design and Research Leader who has brought technology\, busine
 ss and social science into productive dialogue to build inclusive\, ethica
 l products for close to 15 years. She is currently Research Strategy Manag
 er at Workday where she leads the Research Community and Research Operatio
 ns across Workday’s suite of enterprise software products. Over the cour
 se of her career embedding human insights into product and service develop
 ment and strategy she has had the privilege of working with leading organi
 sations in the US and Europe from government to software. She has a PhD\, 
 MSc and BSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and
  is a Co-Organizer of Flatirons LGBTQ Tech\, a Colorado-based professional
  group working towards increasing diversity and inclusivity within the tec
 hnology industry\, with over 900 members. As a recovering academic\, she o
 ften mentors graduate students\, teaches undergraduate courses on Design A
 nthropology and sometimes publishes serious articles in journals such as t
 he Journal of Business Anthropology\, Annals of Anthropological Practice a
 nd Social Anthropology. Tamara lives in Boulder\, Colorado\, where she bui
 lds lego parade floats with her daughter. Her UX title is Icon of Icons. \
