DESCRIPTION: Artificial Intelligence has taken the world by storm. IxDA Hel
 sinki and Nitor are joining forces and hosting an evening where we explore
  the topic of artificial intelligence through different lenses. The evenin
 g's talks will be about the ethics of novel technologies\, as well as new 
 creative opportunities with AI. We will round off the evening with a panel
  discussion and Q&amp\;A. We do encourage active audience participation. \
 n\n Our lineup of speakers and panelists includes: \n\n  \nAnnika Madejska
  / Speaker &amp\; panelist \n\n Talk: Ethics and AI from a designer's pers
 pective \n\n Annika Madejska is a Senior Designer at Nitor. She has worked
  with AI software for the last three years and carries a torch for ethical
  tech. The last seven years her favorite pastime has been to study ethics 
 in tech and particular AI. Before she jumped ship and became a full time U
 X-designer\, she had a 16 year long career as a journalist working with vi
 sual news presentation for both print and online products in Sweden and Fi
 nland. \n\n  \nRoope Rainisto / Speaker &amp\; panelist \n\n Talk: New cre
 ative opportunities with AI \n\n Roope Rainisto is a Finnish AI artist\, d
 esigner\, and photographer. His NFT collections rank amongst the most valu
 able AI art collections in the world. Previous to his current art career\,
  Roope had a 25-year career as a professional UX designer. Roope is also o
 ne of the founders of Varjo. \n\n  \nMatias Vaara / Panelist \n\n Matias V
 aara is an independent strategic designer at Vaara &amp\; Co. He’s passi
 onate about exploring how generative AI changes design. Matias has trained
  designers on generative AI at companies like Futurice and KONE. He also w
 rites a weekly newsletter on Innovation with Generative AI. \n\n Before hi
 s own company\, Matias was a design director at Idean (now frog). \n\n   \
