 inar explores if and how data anonymisation practices have evolved to comp
 ly with the legislation. \n\n Drawing on speakers specialised in anonymisa
 tion techniques\, the session will examine how the industry has evolved to
  respond to the requirements introduced by the GDPR. Has the Regulation in
 troduced new technical requirements and an increased demand for anonymisat
 ion tools? Has this resulted in widespread industry adoption? And which ha
 ve been the most challenging aspects of the implementation process? \n\n T
 he webinar opens with a brief historical review of how the development of 
 the GDPR itself was informed by the then-current data anonymisation practi
 ces — and to what extent this created a feedback loop between the legisl
 ative process and technology development. \n\n The discussion will then ex
 tend to examine how the technological evolutions prompted by the GDPR have
  fed into new or updated standards on data anonymisation and pseudonymisat
 ion.\nFinally\, the session will engage with participants to explore poten
 tial ways forward\, and how the data anonymisation landscape may evolve in
  a changing sector — including in light of the widespread availability a
 nd rapid evolution of generative AI. \n
