DESCRIPTION: Join us in September for the second edition of this conference
  for BFI FAN members. We will come together from member organisations acro
 ss the UK to strengthen our professional networks\, learn about some of th
 e most exciting FAN projects\, and draw inspiration on new ways to reach a
 nd engage audiences! \n\n The first BFI FAN CON will take place in Newcast
 le at Tyneside Cinema\, offering a brilliant chance for FAN members to exp
 lore this exciting\, welcoming city and its many cinematic landmarks. \n\n
  The conference will open with a preview screening on Monday 7 September\,
  followed by two days of sessions and workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday. 
 On Tuesday evening there will be a conference dinner. \n\n BFI FAN CON is 
 for all types of FAN members. From small community cinemas and touring col
 lectives\, right up to large multi-screen independent cinemas and landmark
  film festivals. The event is for anyone working or volunteering in any fi
 lm exhibition role at a FAN member organisation\, and at any level of thei
 r careers. If you’re passionate about your work in film exhibition\, we 
 hope you’ll join us at FAN CON! \n
