DESCRIPTION: Each month\, Improvised Music Company hosts Cooler Clinic CPD
events. These sessions offer musicians one-to-one support and guidance aro
und building sustainable creative careers. For this Online Cooler Clinic\,
we’re turning our focus to funding\, with a particular emphasis on the u
pcoming Arts Council Bursary Award.Book a free one-to-one consultation wit
h a member of the IMC team to:\n \n* Get another pair of eyes on any fundi
ng application for possible gaps\, errors\, or areas of misunderstanding\n
 * Sense-check your proposal’s goals against the award’s guidelines and
intentions\n* Talk through ideas at any stage and decide which path is mo
st viable\n* Review budgets or build a structure you can use going forward
\n* Refine your artistic rationale\, framing\, or supporting materials \n\
n If you’re applying for a Bursary to develop your own artistic practice
\, these sessions are a chance to ground your application in clarity\, con
fidence\, and clear next steps. \n\n If you’re not working on a current
application but want to become more comfortable with funding processes ove
rall\, feel free to bring along a previous application\, draft\, or even a
vague idea you’d like to explore. IMC is not a funding body\, but with
experience across many applications\, we can offer useful insight and a fr
esh pair of eyes. \n\n As always\, one-to-one conversations can also cover
any topic concerning your professional development — from touring to re
leasing music — so feel free to drop in with questions in any area you t
hink we might be able to help. \n\n Attendance is free\, but registration
is required. Zoom links will be sent out on the day of the sessions. \n
