 Company hosts Cooler Clinics - free CPD events and 1:1 consults. These ses
 sions are an opportunity for jazz and improvising musicians to soundboard\
 , discuss\, strategise\, and get guidance and feedback from the IMC team. 
 \n\n This month's clinic is focused about releasing music\, with special g
 uest Dermot Rogers. \n\n Dermot Rogers presents 2 weekly radio shows (The 
 Night Train and Jazz Time) on DublinCityFM\, runs Livia Records and is a d
 irector of IMC. A lifelong music collector and aficionado\, he has 40 year
 s experience working in software and digital media. Now retired from the c
 orporate IT world\, Dermot is semi-retired and dedicating a lot of his tim
 e and energy to supporting music related matters\, particularly in the jaz
 z/improv space. \n\n Dermot will present useful points from his experience
  in releasing music\, covering areas including: reasons to release\, produ
 ction &amp\; post-production\, local international promotion\, legal matte
 rs\, duplication and online distribution\, funding\, and the pros and cons
  of self-releases versus working with a label. \n\n After the will be a pr
 esentation\, there will be a limited number of 1:1 consultation slots to d
 iscuss releasing music with Dermot or one of the IMC\, to cover specific p
 lans or practical advice. You're also welcome to bring other career concer
 ns to discuss with the IMC team. \n\n Attendance is free\, but registratio
 n is necessary. Please book in below for the talk and/or 1:1 consultations

 /or for a 1:1 consultation \n\n Access notes:\nThe Cooler is up two flight
 s of stairs and may be difficult to access for patrons with mobility issue
 s. The space is fully seated. Gender-neutral toilet facilities are availab
 le upstairs (a few steps up from the level of The Cooler). Baby-changing f
 acilities are available at The Gallery\, downstairs at The Complex (using
