 , the trio continues their ever-strengthening bond\, spanning 10 years of 
 performance and three previous albums. \n\n London-born and living in Irel
 and since 1986\, pianist and saxophonist Carole Nelson is in her fifth dec
 ade of creative music-making. She currently lives between the River Barrow
  and the Blackstairs Mountains - a landscape which inspires her music. \n\
 n Through the Storm continues the ecological themes of Carole’s previous
  work. The music paints an emotive picture of nature’s resilience and fr
 agility through the stories of two bird species- the swallow’s migratory
  journey and the now-extinct kauai’ o’o\, continuing Carole’s engage
 ment and concern for the natural world and our place in it. This is elegan
 t\, lyrical music\, both timeless and of the moment. \n
