 Y. \n\n Tom opened his first auction business in 1991 following an acciden
 t on site\, which confined him to a wheelchair for two years. To combat th
 e boredom\, he spent his days visiting auctions and local car boot sales. 
 It was to be the start of an illustrious and successful career. \n\n “Ch
 iswick Auctions” soon came to the attention of BBC and ITV’s antique p
 rogrammes and Tom himself became a regular TV personality acting as the au
 ctioneer for ‘Bargain Hunt’\, ‘Flog It’ and ‘Cash in the Attic
 ’. \n\n These days Tom can be found at his flagship auction rooms “The
  Swan” in Tetsworth where their fine art auctions enjoy a local\, nation
 al and international following.  \n\n Join us for what will surely be an e
 njoyable and interesting evening. Tom will be joined in conversation by TV
  host Paul Hayes.  \n
