DESCRIPTION: The Ice Hockey UK Level 1 Coaching Course prepares aspiring co
 aches to support the delivery of safe\, structured and effective coaching 
 sessions. \n\n Upon successful completion\, Level 1 Coaches will be able t

 rvision of a more qualified coach\n* Lead activities planned by a Level 2 
 coach or above\n* Contribute to post-session reviews and evaluation \n\n A
 pplications must:\n \n* Be 16 years of age or older\n* Be a competent skat
 er (see minimum skill requirements below)\n* All attendees must be able to
  communicate effectively in English (listening\, speaking\, reading\, writ
 ing\, and comprehension).\n* Have a good working knowledge of Ice hockey a
 s a sport\, rules and officiating principles\, basic coaching terminology.
