 \n The organising committee are delighted to invite you to this virtual sy
 mposium which will focus on cancer of unknown primary (CUP). We are partic
 ularly interested in the use of personalised medicine by way of genomic pr
 ofiling and ‘molecular tumour board’ meetings to determine the best tr
 eatment and management options for patients. \n\n We are hoping to provide
  an opportunity for attendees to improve their understanding of\nresearch\
 , diagnosis\, and treatment of CUP. \n\n This symposium promises high qual
 ity\ntalks both clinically and scientifically.Our first Session is themed 
 ‘What’s\nNext for CUP?’ and focuses on patient\nexperience and resea
 rch. We are very\nlucky to have three outstanding\nexpert international pl
 enary speakers: Dr. Jean\nClaude Zenklusen\, Director of The Cancer Genome
  Atlas\, Dr. Manel Esteller\, Director of the Josep Carreras Leukaemia\nRe
 search Institute\, and John Symons\, Director of the Cancer of Unknown Pri
 mary\nFoundation Jo’s Friends. \n\n The second session features three in
 -house SVUH clinical specialists who will detail current practice and avai
 lable treatment options. To round off the event\, a ‘molecular tumour bo
 ard’ formed of all speakers and chairs will discuss the first case of th
 e SJKF CUP study currently running in SVUH. \n\n We would be delighted for
  you to join us to share\nexperiences\, ideas and achievements. \n\n This 
 free event is aimed at oncologists\, pathologists\, nurses\, academics\, p
