DESCRIPTION: This newly reimagined edition of the long-distance cycling eve
nt\, first held in 1894\, pays tribute to the pioneers who conquered the A
lps on steel frames and unpaved roads.\nThe original winner\, Josef Fische
r\, completed the ride from Milan to Munich in little more than 31 hours
 – long before tarmac roads\, carbon frames or GPS devices existed. It wa
s\, in every sense\, a gravel event avant la lettre. \n\n Supergrevet Mila
n–Munich revives that spirit of raw endurance and discovery\, connecting
two iconic cities and their cycling cultures across one of Europe’s mos
t spectacular mountain crossings.\nFrom the sunlit plains of Lombardy to t
he high alpine passes of Tyrol and the rolling Bavarian foothills\, this r
oute invites today’s riders to experience the essence of the original Di
 stanzradfahrt – self-reliant\, demanding\, and deeply human. \n
