DESCRIPTION: This event is open to Guide &amp\; Ranger units and Young Lead
 ers - maximum of 16 per unit accompanied by a minimum of two leaders.  \n\
 n (If you book a smaller number of places your unit will be mixed with oth
 er units to get to groups of 16 girls for the water activities) \n\n Cost:
 \n£28 per Guide/Ranger/YL (plus pocket money for souvenir shop and snacks
 ). \n\n Time:\nThis is an all day event\, there are 3 staggered arrival/de
 parture times\, you will be allocated times once bookings close. (Groups w
 ill be allocated one of these time slots 9.15am until 3.45pm\, 9.30am unti
 l 4pm OR 9.45pm until 4.15pm) \n\n Place:\nPaxmead Riverside Base\, Docket
 t Eddy Lane\, Shepperton\, TW17 9NT. \n\n Dress:\nGuide uniform/wet water 
 wear (see kit list which will be issued with further information after the
  closing date)\, hot drinks will be freely available all day but everyone 
 will need to bring a packed lunch.  \n\n The day involves a mix of wet/dry
  activities – and of course the famous Cardboard Canoe Competition (rule
 s for the competition will be included with further information) \n\n Acti
 vities : The day will be spilt into thirds. \n \n1. Water activities: the 
 chance to try paddleboarding and kayaking (all river/weather depending so 
 subject to change depending on conditions) \n2. Bushcraft: this will be ru
 n by an external bushcraft company and will include campfire lighting/cook
 ing\, leather and wood work. \n3. Crafts: each unit will be required to br
 ing a craft activity on the day that the girls will be able to free flow a
 round. Ideas and budget available to support this. (If you are attending s
 coutabout this year then repeating your activity you used for this could b
 e a good option)  \n\n  \nPlaces are limited so will be allocated on a fir
 st come\, first served basis .  \n\n Closing date for this event is 5th Ju
