DESCRIPTION: What is the future of business? \n\n The climate is warming an
 d ecosystems are crumbling. And we see\, hear\, feel and experience the ef
 fects. We are part of the thin layer of ecosystems\, living in them and ou
 r survival is dependent on them. \n\n Our perspective of the world is chan
 ging. We have to learn how to lead and design businesses as the world need
 s\, that include both planetary boundaries and human well-being in their f
 oundations. \n\n We are organising the first Doughnut design for business 
 event in Finland\, that focuses on the transition of the deep design of bu
 sinesses\, so that they can become regenerative and distributive in their 
 core operations. \n\n \n The Doughnut approach envisions a world that meet
 s the needs of all people within the means of the living planet. It's a wo
 rld that is regenerative\, rather than degenerative. And it is far more di
 stributive of value and opportunity than today’s economy.\nhttps://dough

  Jälleenrakentajat co-op\, who are experts in Doughnut Economics. Minna H
 alme\, professor of Sustainability Management at Aalto University School o
 f Business\, will join the workshop as Mentor. \n\n The event is divided i
 nto two sections: \n\n Part 1: the talk Doughnut design for business (Live
  and Online) will introduce the framework and approach and form the mental
  state for the day and following discussions\, as well as the workshop. \n
 \n Part 2: the Doughnut design for business workshop (Live only) will empo
 wer change makers to hands-on explore what the doughnut approach would mea
 n in their business\, and introduce the steps how to design a business tha

  \n \n\n \n\n SPEAKER &amp\; KEY FACILITATOR: Valtteri Aaltonen is interna
 tionally awarded researcher specialized in sustainable and responsible org
 anisations. He is finalizing his PhD on this subject at the University of 
 Jyväskylä. As an activist Aaltonen is known as a friend of ducks and for
  starting the Finnish doughnut economy discussions. In Jälleenrakentajat 
 co-op his responsibility is to coordinate the Doughnut Design for Business
  workshops. \n\n \n\nMENTOR: Minna Halme\, professor of Sustainability Man
 agement at Aalto University School of Business. Her research focuses on su
 stainability innovations\, co-creation of sustainable business models and 
 societal impacts of CSR. She has a seat in multiple advisory boards such a
 s Finland’s national Sustainable Development Expert Panel. Professor Hal
