DESCRIPTION: The England Ice Hockey Level 1 Coaching Course prepares aspiri
 ng coaches to support the delivery of safe\, structured and effective coac
 hing sessions. \n\n Upon successful completion\, Level 1 Coaches will be a
 ble to:\n \n* Assist in the delivery of coaching sessions under the direct
  supervision of a more qualified coach\n* Lead activities planned by a Lev
 el 2 coach or above\n* Contribute to post-session reviews and evaluation \
 n\n Applications must:\n \n* Be 16 years of age or older\n* Be a competent
  skater (see minimum skill requirements below)\n* All attendees must be ab
 le to communicate effectively in English (listening\, speaking\, reading\,
  writing\, and comprehension).\n* Have a good working knowledge of Ice hoc
 key as a sport\, rules and officiating principles\, basic coaching termino
 logy.\n* Have access to a practical coaching environment for the duration
