  Speakers and Topics \n\n DigiTay Digital Skills in Dundee \n\n Archaeolog
 y Scotland and Amina Moti have been working on a DigiTay funded community 
 archaeology and digital skills project in Dundee using an archaeological s
 urvey project as a vehicle to deliver digital skills training to marginali
 zed and displaced groups in Dundee. This demographic face a variety of bar
 riers in receiving digital skills training and on their employability jour
 ney and in engaging with cultural heritage. This project sought to bring t
 ogether the benefits an archaeology project to provide a safe and positive
  space for the group to learn and develop digital skills\, language skills
  and other transferable skills. This talk will reflect on our experiences 
 delivering the project and where we see it could develop in the future. \n
 \n Speaker Bios \n\n Kieran Manchip (Project Officer at Archaeology Scotla
 nd) \n\n Kieran is a community archaeologist who has been working at Archa
 eology Scotland since 2019\, running a wide variety of community archaeolo
 gy projects focussing on social value and widening participation in Scotti
 sh Archaeology. Much of his recent work has been with communities of New S
 cots and ensuring that marginalized and displaced communities have the opp
 ortunities to engage with and contribute to archaeology in Scotland. \n
