DESCRIPTION: Doteveryone's Better Care Systems Project\, in partnership wit
 h the ESRC Sustainable Care programme at the University of Sheffield\, are
  running a workshop to explore how we can build better care systems that w
 ork for everyone in a future of robots\, exoskeletons\, and smart homes. \
 n\n We believe that technology cannot replace human care\, but used well i
 t could support radical social and structural change\, taking us towards a
  future care system that is sustainable\, fair and effective. We need the 
 best of technology but also new approaches to workforce development\, to s
 upporting families who care\, and to building resilient caring communities
 . \n\n This one-day workshop is a chance for people working in the care se
 ctor and related tech industries to think creatively and radically about a
  future in which care\, care work\, and care relationships are better valu
 ed and understood\, to get inspired and reflect on how we can work towards
  a better system. \n\n You do not need to bring anything except your exper
 ience of caring\, the care sector and/or technology-enabled care and a wil
 lingness to think hopefully and creatively. \n\n The venue\, the Jessop Bu
 ilding in Sheffield university\, is fully accessible\, and a 20 minute wal
 k from the railway station. If you need a taxi for that journey portion fo
