 ’s Festival of Archaeology. \n\n This year’s theme for the CBA’s Fes
 tival of Archaeology is Exploring Local Places. Discover the archaeology t
 hat is all around you by exploring the aerial photographs of your local ar
 ea. On Thursday 22 July at 5pm\,  Medwyn Parry\, expert on our aerial phot
 ograph archive\, will demonstrate the incredible variety of detailed aeria
 l views of Wales held by the Royal Commission. There will be examples of p
 ractical applications\, and how you can make use of this amazing resource 
 for your own research. \n\n 22 July 2021\, 5pm \n\n This free lecture will
  be delivered via Zoom and the invitation will be sent to you once you hav
 e booked your place. Please don’t forget to download Zoom if you haven
 ’t already! \n\n Tickets will be limited and must be booked in advance. 
 \n\n Please reserve one ticket per household. \n\n \n\n During 2021 we wil
 l be holding special events and regular presentations on our current resea
 rch projects.  All are welcome to these free online events.  All talks wil
 l be recorded\, becoming available in due course on the Royal Commission
 ’s YouTube channel. \n\n \n
