 es\, MSDS Marine on behalf of the CHERISH Project \n\n \n\n In 2021 MSDS M
 arine were commissioned by the CHERISH Project to undertake a programme of
  diving on the Bronze Bell protected wreck site. The wreck was last visite
 d by an archaeological contractor in 2004. In addition\, this visit was th
 e first to assess the impact of climate change on the wreck. In this talk 
 Alison James from MSDS Marine will give an update on the diving fieldwork 
 and discuss the findings. \n\n The Bronze Bell wreck was found by divers i
 n 1978 off the Merioneth coast. The name of the ship is unknown but has be
 en re-named after the bronze bell dated 1677 found on the wreck. \n\n CHER
 ISH (Climate\, Heritage and Environments of Reefs\, Islands\, and Headland
 s) is a 6-year European-funded Ireland-Wales project\, bringing together f
 our partners across two nations: the Royal Commission on the Ancient and H
 istorical Monuments of Wales\, the Discovery Programme: Centre for Archaeo
 logy and Innovation Ireland\, Aberystwyth University: Department of Geogra
 phy and Earth Sciences\, and Geological Survey\, Ireland. The project bega
 n in January 2017 and will run until June 2023. It will benefit from €4.
 9 million through the Ireland-Wales 2014-2020 Programme. \n\n 17 February\
