  start a process called "Call for Proposals". This is an invitation for an
 yone interested in taking part to submit their idea for a talk or workshop
 . Proposals are an outline of what you'd like to talk about and helps orga
 nisers choose talks for their events. \n\n DDD Perth's CFP workshop is her
 e to help you craft that proposal and reduce any worry you may have when s
 ubmitting it.. \n\n This year we're running two workshops during our CFP p
 eriod\, one will be online and another will be in person. \n\n This worksh
 op will be online\, to make it (we hope) as easy to attend as possible. Ch
 ildren and pets are very welcome\, in fact some of our mentors will be usi
 ng two screens - one with toddler tractor videos on mute\, and the other f
 or the video conference. It's the little things. \n\n Video is not essenti
 al but highly encouraged as it's useful practise for conference speaking. 
 \n\n Workshop will be run 6pm - 8.30pm\, and resources will be provided if
  you need to pop in and out or can't make the whole session. If you're mak
 ing dinner at 6pm\, have us on in the background\, we'll be more entertain
 ing than The Project! \n
