 real stories of data work from the folks in the trenches. We’re not here
  for the latest AI hype\, perfect case studies\, and sales pitches — we 
 want the messy\, honest experiences that happen when the demo ends and act
 ual work begins. We want to share stories of what goes on with data behind
  the scenes. \n\n This event is for the vibrant data community\, organized
  by the awesome volunteer staff. \n\n The event is basically funded by Ran
 dy's (the head organizer's) Counting Stuff newsletter subscriptions. Any o
 ptional ticket sales go towards the various costs related to running the e
 vent (expected to be ~$1k). You can also opt to pay for a newsletter subsc
