DESCRIPTION: Cardiff University’s Data Science Academy (DSA) is hosting a
 n in person session for companies and external partners to learn more abou
 t providing a project for our\nstudents. \n\n After completing the taught 
 part of their study\, DSA students work on a twelve-week project over the 
 summer that contributes to their dissertation. To help expose our students
  to the experience of working with industry many of these projects are sou
 rced from external partners in industry and research institutes. \n\n Ther
 e are many benefits to proposing a student project. For example\, if you h
 ave data you want to use to answer a research problem\, our data science s
 tudents can use their skills to help you.  This can also help you expand y
 our network and allow you to work as collaborative supervisor on a project
 . \n\n Please register to learn more about the DSA\, our students\, projec
 t requirements and the process for proposing a student project idea. \n
