DESCRIPTION: Enterprise Ireland’s €1 million Competitive Start Fund (CS
 F) for Female Entrepreneurs will open for applications on Tuesday 1st May.
  Equity funding of €50\,000 is available to a maximum of 15 successful f
 emale applicants with early stage\, female-led start-up companies. Last ye
 ar\, one in three companies that received CSF investment from Enterprise I
 reland were female-led. As well as securing up to €50k in funding\, 10 o
 f the successful applicants will also have the opportunity to participate 
 in Dublin BIC’s INNOVATE accelerator programme.  \n\n Delivered over a 1
 2-week period in the Guinness Enterprise Centre\, the INNOVATE programme w
 ill increase the capabilities of the participants and move them to investo
