 ecently.  We help you develop a talk from nothing through to draft slides\
 , giving you confidence to submit talks to meetup groups and tech conferen
 ces. \n\n Your glittering career in technology public speaking (or just th
 e occasional talk at a meetup group) starts here! \n\n Is this for me? \n\
 n If your work is related to designing\, building or running some kind of 
 software\, and you want to get started with speaking\, this workshop is fo
 r you. \n\n Details \n\n Based on the work you have been doing recently\, 
 we uncover some interesting material that you could talk about. We then re
 fine the focus and establish a basic narrative structure for the talk\, be
 fore beginning to create a draft set of slides. The workshop ends with tal
 k showcases from each of the attendees. \n\n \n 09:30 - introductions and 
 overview \n 10:00 - material discovery \n 11:00 - narrative development  \
 n 12:30 - lunch \n 13:30 - create draft slides \n 15:00 - talk showcases \
 n 16:30 - close \n \n\n The workshop is collaborative and interactive - pl
 ease expect to share experience and work with others in the group. Your ta
 lk will be better for it! \n\n Food &amp\; drink \n\n We provide tea/coffe
 e and a light lunch (sandwiches &amp\; fruit). \n\n What to bring \n\n Ple
 ase bring your own laptop for slides (or pad of A4 paper if you prefer)\, 
 and some details of things you have recently worked on. \n
