 ome of the most significant data projects that Code The City have undertak
 en in the last nine year\, look at the practicalities of gathering data us
 ing Python\, and look forward to our 28th Hack event which is coming up ju
 st over a week later. \n\n The format will be: \n\n \n an overview of the 
 previous CTC data projects \n how do we scrape data with Python - look at 
 an existing one and at refactoring code from that \n a quick look forward 
 to CTC28 and the opportunities there \n \n\n This event is orgnanised by a
  charity - Code The City. CTC suggests a small donation to help with chari
 ty admin costs\, but if this is a barrier please just change the ticket pr
 ice to what you can afford. \n\n We're now back to running physical events
  backed up with an online option. \n\n If you select a physical ticket and
  it happens that we can not meet physically you will have to attend the Zo
 om session. If you choose a physical ticket and it goes ahead you will hav
 e to comply with any conditions of attendance (eg masks or social distanci
 ng) that the venue operators demand at the time. \n\n Those attending the 
 physical space meetup should attend at 6pm for pizza and drinks. The codin
 g session (for online attendees) will be from 6.30pm. Doors will be locked
  from 6.30pm. \n\n **If tickets are sold out please do not attend as you w
 ill be refused entry without a ticket. ** \n\n Our booking system is provi
 ded by Tito. Their platform is integrated with payment processing by Strip
