 ents\, and Rapid App Development with Generative A" - Prof Eyad Elyan\, RG
 U \n\n This talk will provide a comprehensive overview of the AI landscape
  and the latest trending topics\, with a focus on real-world applications 
 of computer vision\, particularly in the Oil and Gas sector. We’ll then 
 explore Agentic AI\, a cutting-edge concept that extends AI beyond automat
 ion\, enabling more autonomous and intelligent decision-making systems. Th
 rough examples\, using Python\, we’ll illustrate the power and potential
  of Agentic AI in action. Finally\, in a live demo\, we’ll showcase how 
 generative AI can be used with just a few prompts to rapidly build and dep
 loy a functional application—highlighting its ability to accelerate deve
 lopment like never before. Whether you're a developer\, data scientist\, o
 r AI enthusiast\, I hope that this session will provide valuable insights 
 and practical takeaways. \n\n Brief Bio:\nEyad is a Professor of Machine L
 earning and Computer Vision at Robert Gordon University\, specialising in 
 applied AI solutions for real-world challenges. His work leverages deep le
 arning and generative AI to drive innovations across different industries 
 (e.g. Energy\, construction\, health). He works closely with industry lead
 ers\, and focuses on translating cutting-edge AI research into scalable to
 ols that enhance efficiency\, accuracy\, and decision-making across sector

 u with that too. Coding in pairs or small groups (especially mixing beginn
 er and more experiences coders) is strongly encouraged\, though you can al
 so code solo. \n\n ---------------------- \n\n  \nThis is our first sessio
 n in our new premises\, which is still a work in progress. That means that
  our disability access is not what we want it to be. If you are uncomforta
 ble\, or unable to use stairs\, please book an online ticket for the Zoom 
 session. We are working to improve this but it will take a few months. \n\
 n This event is orgnanised by a charity - Code The City. We suggest a smal
 l donation to help with charity admin costs\, but if this is a barrier ple
 ase just change the ticket price to what you can afford. \n\n We're now ba
 ck to running physical events backed up with an online option. \n\n If you
  select a physical ticket and it happens that we can not meet physically y
 ou will have to attend the Zoom session. \n\n Those attending the physical
  space meetup should attend at 6pm for pizza and drinks. The coding sessio
 n (for online attendees) will be from 6.30pm. Doors will be locked from 6.
