DESCRIPTION: The CVI Special Interest Group* is made up of professionals fr
 om\nmultiple organisations in Ireland who support children with CVI. We ar
 e hosting\na workshop for professionals in Ireland\, who work with childre
 n and adolescents\nand particularly those who are currently working with a
  child who has a\ndiagnosis of CVI. Through a series of presentations\, pa
 rticipants will learn\nabout Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment\, its dia
 gnosis\, assessment procedures\nand how to consider CVI as a differential 
 diagnosis in autism assessments. The\nsecond half of the workshop will foc
 us on practical strategies for adapting\nlearning\, therapeutic and assess
 ment environments for best outcomes. This\nworkshop may be of particular i
 nterest to medical professionals\, psychologists\,\nspeech and language th
 erapists\, occupational therapists\, teachers and\nSNA’s. \n\n   \n
