 k with Cannoli &amp\; Gun's alternative seasonal offering\, with the black
  comedy Bad Santa. The good people at Salt Café will fix you some sandwic
 hes\, too. \n\n When the build up to Christmas starts before Remembrance S
 unday\, it is easy to be jaded by the merriness of the season\, the endles
 s cheer and bonhomie. The idea that\, just because it's Christmas in two m
 onths\, we should all be merry and bright.  \n\n Well\, if you're feeling 
 like that by early December\, swing by Salt Café on St George's Road on S
 unday 13 December\, and join us for some alternative festive fun. \n\n Bad
  Santa tells the story of Willie (Billy Bob Thornton) and Marcus (Tony Cox
 )\, who find employment as Santa and his Elf in a different mall every yea
 r. And then\, on Christmas Eve\, they rob it\, having spent the previous f
 ew weeks scoping it out. The only problem is that Willie is a foul-mouthed
 \, alcoholic\, womanising\, all-round terrible human being.  \n\n And then
  they meet The Kid (Brett Kelly)\, a lonely\, overweight boy who lives wit
 h his senile grandmother.  \n\n This is the least saccharine Christmas fil
 m you will see all year\, but it's consistently hilarious\, and will prove
  a worthy antidote to the rest of the season. And maybe\, just maybe\, the
 re's a heart to the film after all... \n\n Both the kid and the grandma ar
 e very\, very keen to fix Willie sandwiches throughout the film. And so ar
 e the exceptional people at Salt Café. With a choice of salt beef\, gherk
 ins\, and mustard mayo\, or halloumi\, harissa\, and roast veg\, these san
 dwiches are a goodly offering. \n
